Ms. Aguere Yilma Bultcha

Ms. Aguere Yilma Bultcha is an Executive Assistant/Office Manager to the President and Chief Executive of the Trade and Development Bank (TDB). As a focal person to the Presidency, Ms. Bultcha, is the hub of centralized communication, with high-level Government and senior officials of the TDB member states, as well as the Board of Directors and Board of Governors of the bank, shareholders, stakeholders (funders, banks, and partners). Managing the office of the President and Chief Executive includes also assisting in various matters all departments of the Bank. Ms. Bultcha is bilingual with French as the primary language, a skill acquired whilst in the French School in Addis Ababa Ethiopia. Further studies include specializing in International relations for her first degree and then honors with the UNISA. She is currently finalizing her masters thesis in leadership. She has grown in various positions in her homeland, while working as a French language teacher with the Alliance Ethio Francaise, Total Oil Company, the United Nations Development Programme, USAID, and the African Union, before joining TDB. Lending a helping hand to the most vulnerable is a passion that drives her every morning, with a positive intention of reaching out and making a difference in at least 1 person per day. An avid learner, Ms. Bultcha engages in continuous learning in various subjects and studies. Outgoing and eager to discover new things, take new challenges, and motivate others, while consoling and guiding them are her key passions. Survivor of a car accident as a child that could have left her paralyzed, sports (some daring ones) has been among her various hobbies, besides books, cooking, and others. She is a dedicated family person, who loves to travel, meet new people, and visit places.
